To prepare your XPS device for sale, follow these steps:
- Back up your data: Before selling, make sure to back up your important files to the cloud or an external storage device.
- Perform a factory reset: Erase all your personal data by performing a factory reset. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery and select Reset this PC.
- Remove from accounts: Unlink your device from any accounts, including Microsoft or other cloud services.
- Power off: Ensure the device is powered off before shipping.
